Babies Need Measles Vaccine Before Trips Abroad
Even though measles has been wiped out in the United States for more than a decade, Americans traveling abroad continue to bring the highly contagious virus back--and the government says such cases may be on the rise. During the first two months of this year alone, 13 people returning from an international trip developed measles, including seven young children ages 6 to 23 months. That number is comparable to the average number of cases seen each year between 2001 and 2010, according to a report published Thursday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. - Yahoo!
